'Emily in Paris' creator teases Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount's role in season 5
Camille Razat won't be joining the star cast for season 5
Emily in Paris, the globally acclaimed show starring Lily Collins, has been renewed for season 5.
The romantic comedy series backed by Netflix features Collins alongside Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Ashely Park, and Camille Razat.
Prior to the announcement of the fifth season, Bravo made some controversial statements about the show, which hinted that he might not return for the new entry.
But creator Darren Star has unveiled that the 37-year-old never intended not to return for the new season.
In conversation with Deadline, Darren added, "I think the latter, just a misunderstanding. I think he was never intending not to come back."
Meanwhile, he also teased the 33-year-old’s presence in the upcoming part.
Laviscount, who played Alfie in the popular show, would have a more significant part in season 5, unlike the previous season in which he appeared in a handful episodes.
The American writer stated, "Lucien is basically in every episode this season. He’s terrific, and I’m really happy to see him back this year in a more significant way."
Emily in Paris season 5 will be reuniting all the OG actors except Razat, who has confirmed her departure from the show.
