Brad Pitt's 'F1' movie is set to release on June 27
Brad Pitt has opened about the most haunting moment in his career.
There was a time when the 61-year-old had to get the membership for Screen Actors Guild (SAG), which helps actors further in their career.
To secure that membership, the actor at least needs to have one speaking part. At the time, Pitt landed a non-speaking part in a cop film, No Man’s Land, in which his part was to pour champagne and say nothing.
In the Armchair Expert podcast, the Bullet Train star revealed, “The whole game was, how do you get your SAG card? Because you can’t get a job if you don’t have your SAG card, but you can’t get your SAG card unless you’ve had a job. It’s this catch-22.”
While recalling the scene from the movie which also featured Charlie Sheen and DB Sweeney, Brad opened, “I am the waiter. I’m supposed to bring up champagne and pour champagne.”
“They show me how to do it. You gotta pour. You spin. You wipe the thing.”
Desperate Pitt, just to get a single speaking line, recalled pouring the drink and going, “Would you like anything else?”
But as he did it, the F1 star was scolded by the assistant director, who warned him, “You do that again, you’re out of here.”
According to Brad, this one incident in his career still haunts him.
