Brad Pitt makes shocking revelation about his acting career
Brad Pitt has recently explained how he dealt with low period in his acting career.
Speaking on the latest episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, the Troy actor revealed that summer of 1994 was the “most unhealthy time” in his life.
After his movies flopped at the box office at the time, Brad had no clue what to do with his unfulfilling career and therefore he took some time off from Hollywood.
“I would wake up, I would get a bong load, I would have four Coca-Colas on ice, no food,” recalled the 61-year-old.
The Ocean’s Eleven actor shared, “This particular summer, I watched the O.J. trial, and I was just trying to figure out, ‘What do I do next? What do I do next?’”
And it was then Brad received the script of David Fincher’s movie, Se7en, which he was sent to him by his manager.
“My dear friend and manager and, basically my sister now, Cynthia, sends the ‘Se7en’ script over,” remembered the F1 star.
Brad's manager asked him to read the script and after reading the first seven page, he called his manager, saying, “Are you kidding me? The cliché old cop wants out; the young cop comes in and he’s looking at his high school football trophies?’ She goes, ‘Just finish it.’”
“Then I go meet with David, and he was just talking about movies like I’d never heard anyone speak about movie,” mentioned the Fight Club actor.
Brad added, “I just got the jones back. Finding that thing kind of… it just reinvigorated what I wanted out of this thing.”
Meanwhile, Se7en, which was released in 1995, also stars Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kevin Spacey.
