Simone Ashley, the talented Bridgerton star, attended the European premiere of F1 on June 23, despite her role being left on the cutting room floor.
The 30-year-old actress had been cast in the Formula One racing drama, but director Joseph Kosinski recently confirmed to People magazine that her part was ultimately cut from the final film.
Ashley smiled and posed for photos on the red carpet at the film's premiere, held at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.
This isn't the first time she's shown her support for the film, as she previously attended a Miami event alongside costar Kerry Condon and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
Despite her role being cut, Ashley spoke highly of her experience working on the film.
"I have a very small part, but I’m grateful to be in that movie… I got to experience many Grands Prix. I don’t think I’ll ever do anything like that again," she told ELLE earlier in June.
Kosinski praised Ashley's talent, calling her "an incredible talent, incredible actress, incredible singer, and I would love to work with her again."
He also revealed that he had broken the news of Ashley's removal to the actress herself, explaining that her storyline was one of a few that "ultimately didn’t make into the final cut. … It happens on every film, where you have to shoot more than you can use."
The film, starring Brad Pitt as a retired racer returning to Formula One, boasts an impressive cast, including Damson Idris, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. F1 is set to hit theaters on June 27.
