Blake Lively is hopeful for Justin Baldoni trial after latest legal move
Blake Lively is reportedly confident that her chances to win her legal battle against Justin Baldoni have tremendously increased after judge dismissed the actor’s countersuit.
The 37-year-old actress is "thrilled" and her team are “totally convinced they’ve got it in the bag,” according to a source.
The Gossip Girl alum and her team considered it a “total victory” when the lawsuit was dismissed and as an insider now told Heartworld, “There’s not a shred of doubt in Blake’s mind that she will prevail. She’s been through the wringer – Ryan, too – but it was worth the stress, because it was their reputations, not to mention Blake’s entire career, that were at stake.”
However, there is no clear evidence that Lively’s confidence is justified because Baldoni is allowed to amend his claims and submit the countersuit again.
Despite a win, Lively has already lost a lot because of the lawsuit, including her former pal, Taylor Swift.
The source went on to say, “Blake’s image took a huge hit with all the mud that Justin and his legal team threw at her, she lost her best friend and her home life got so stressful that she and Ryan were both at breaking point.”
The Another Simple Favor star is still “determined” to come out stronger from this debacle and “put this nightmare behind her for once and for all.”
