Pamela Anderson addresses her makeup free look on Drew Barrymore Show
Pamela has recently opened up about her decision to go makeup free during Drew Barrymore Show.
The Never Been Kissed actress praised the Baywatch alum for ditching makeup and calling her ‘a pioneer” in a throwback clip from her show on Instagram.
Pamela was overwhelmed and said she loved it.
“Isn't it freeing? Doesn't it feel free? I feel free. I mean, it's taken a while too; I've had my little, you know, journey with it, but we all are our own worst critics,” stated the 57-year-old.
When asked how it all started, Pamela replied, “I was at Paris Fashion Week and decided [if] I was just going to a fashion show, I didn't need to compete with anybody. Like, why am I wasting three hours in a makeup chair when I have these beautiful Vivian Westwood clothes on.”
“And I didn't realise anyone would even notice,” continued the Last Showgirl actress.
Therefore, it was then, when Pamela saw people came up to her and talked about her makeup free look.
“I thought, 'Well, this is a great message.' You know, to really peel it back and find out who I was again. I wanted to remember who I was,” pointed out Barb Wire actress.
Pamela also opened up that she was sick and tired of playing characters all her life, be it a star wife, an actress or a model.
So, it hit her a few years ago and made her question her existence and at that time, she went home to her garden and started planting things to get back into nature.
Pamela added she felt empowered and free “and so excited about life again”.
