Dakota Johnson makes moving statement after the release of 'Materialists'
Dakota Johnson, who recently starred in a romantic comedy alongside Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal, has released a statement following the film’s release.
Written and directed by Academy winning scriptwriter Celine Song, the Materialists follows the story of a young New York based matchmaker, who finds difficulty in finding the perfect match for herself.
Taking it to Instagram, the 35-year-old actress expressed gratitude towards her fans and followers for showing immense love on her new film.
“No words for the magnitude of love and gratitude that live in my heart”, wrote the Fifty Shades of Grey famed star.
Along with the caption, Johnson dropped a carousel of photos featuring her, Pascal and Evans from the behind-the-scenes of the movie.
Fans couldn’t stop gushing over the chemistry shared among three stars, one of the fans wrote, “Dakota!! I saw this movie for the second time tonight with my friend and we both just loved it so so much!!! Hands down the best movie of 2025.”
Meanwhile, another fan commented after seeing the adorable images, “I can’t believe what I’m looking at.”
Backed by A24 and Sony Pictures, Materialists earned an 81% score on Rotten Tomatoes by critics.
