Sandra Oh has finally revealed if she would ever reprise her role in Grey’s Anatomy after exiting the cast.
The 53-year-old actress answered fans’ most asked question about her character, Cristina Yang, 11 years after she stopped appearing on the show.
The Killing Eve star appreciated the fans for loving her character and wishing for her to reprise the role at the The New York Times The Interview LIVE event.
“What I have noticed, this is 10 years out from leaving the show, is the deep appreciation that I have for the people who appreciate Cristina. It is that love that has made me go, ‘Oh. The fans really, really, really want it,’ and for the first time, that's when I started opening up the idea,” shared the Canadian actress.
Revealing her final answer to if she would ever return on the show, Oh said, “But for me, I think to really be true to the people who enjoy your work, you have to be true to yourself. So at this point, I don't think so.”
Although Oh received much recognition for her work on the show, including five Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe, she has remained firm on her decision of not coming back to the show since she left in 2014.
