'Squid Game' star unveils challenges of filming in iconic pink costume
'Squid Game' season 3 is set to release on June 27
Park Gyu-young, the young Squid Game sensation, has shared a rare insight about filming the globally acclaimed show.
The 31-year-old Korean actress has confessed that it was extremely difficult shooting for the show in pink suit.
Even though, Park believes that the costume is good-looking, but it felt hot while filming the scenes.
While addressing at the third season’s London premiere, the Sweet Home star stated, "I know it's a good-looking costume, but if you really wear it... it's actually really hot.”
According to the Mirror US, Young also revealed that, "It's kind of hard to breathe and even hard to talk in those masks."
Despite all the difficulties, It’s Okay to Not be Okay famed actress expressed how thrilled she feels to wear those suits.
She stated, "But I was really thrilled to wear those costumes because the pink guard is one of the most iconic characters in Squid Game. So, I didn't care about it."
Netflix backed thriller series includes some players, who fail at the brutal games and get eliminated by the masked guards.
Third season of Squid Game is set to premiere on the streaming giant on June 27, 2025.
