Priyanka Chopra Jonas candidly shares experience shooting 'Heads of State'
Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently sparked concern among fans as she candidly shared her experience while shooting her upcoming project, Heads of State.
The Love Again actress, known for her standout performances in Hollywood, recalled an injury she sustained during the filming of the action-thriller.
In an exclusive conversation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Chopra, 42, said, “The camera operator came in a little closer, I came in a little closer, and boom! The matte box hit me right here (pointing at her eyebrow). It took out a chunk. I was lucky it didn’t take my eye.”
The Krrish star further revealed that she used surgical glue and patched the injury on the spot.
Later in the interview, the Quantico actress reflected on her experience working with co-stars John Cena and Idris Elba.
She jokingly explained, “I was like the buffer. I had to make sure we didn’t just start punching each other.”
Chopra stars as Noel Bisset in the film, an agent assigned to protect the heads of state, played by Cena and Elba.
Heads of State, also featuring Paddy Considine, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, and Sarah Niles, is directed by Ilya Naishuller.
The Bajirao Mastani actress, who shares daughter Malti Marie with husband Nick Jonas, also has SSMB 29 and The Bluff in the pipeline.
For the unversed, Naishuller’s directorial is slated for release on July 2, 2025.
