Tom Hiddleston, who is widely known to play "Loki" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has spoken about reprising the role in the upcoming Avengers film.
The 44-year-old English actor, during the promotion of his new film The Life of Chuck, confirmed that he will be returning as popular comic book character in Russo brothers' Avengers Doomsday.
For Tom, Loki has been a "long-time companion in his life" and hence he never feels tired of playing it again and again, rather, he always feels new.
“It’s very exciting. I have loved playing Loki,” said Hiddleston.
While speaking to Men’s Health, he added “Loki’s been a companion for a long period of my adult life. Loki’s a character of such depth and range and complexity, and it never feels like the same experience”
“It always feels new, and this one will be new in its own way”, added The Night Manager star.
Meanwhile, he also expressed that he is grateful to be a part of the upcoming Marvel film with his old buddies as he said, “I’m grateful that I’m still on the team.”
Slated to release on December 18, the new Avengers film features Robert Downey Jr, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Alan Cumming, Florence Pugh and many more.
