Seth Rogen makes shocking confession
'The Studio' admits risking his career with strange auditions
Superbad famed Seth Rogen has made a surprising revelation about how he almost jeopardized his career.
He recalled giving an audition almost 20 years ago that could have ruined his career if that trial tape would have been leaked.
The Canadian actor revealed that he gave an audition for the 2003 film named Gigli, where he played a boy with "cognitive disability."
Rogen feels thankful to God that back in the time only physical VHS tapes were used, as he confessed, “because the things I auditioned for, in retrospect, if they were out there in the world, they would end my career very, very fast, I believe.”
The Neighbors actor opened, “I auditioned for this boy with a cognitive disability. And I don’t think the script was written in what, by today’s standards, would be the most sensitive portrayal of a boy with a cognitive disability.”
While speaking at the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, the 43-year-old stated that if the tape would have come to the world, then this would have been his last interview.
The role for which Seth gave a try out eventually went out to Justin Bartha. The movie failed to impress audience as it barely surpassed $7 million worldwide.
