A major marvel actor joins Tom Holland, Zendaya in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'
A major Marvel character and actor is swinging into the world of Spider-Man in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Jon Bernthal, who is best known for his role as the relentless Punisher has now stepped into a very different kind of web.
While details about his role remain tightly under wraps, the actor, playing the vigilante who delivers his own brand of justice, might add a serious yet exciting edge to Tom Holland’s friendly neighbourhood adventure.
So far, it’s confirmed that Holland’s fiance Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will reprise their roles as MJ and Ned, respectively.
Additionally, Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is also on baord as one of the major inclusions to the film’s star studded roster.
Notably, the upcoming movie’s story picks up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where the entire world learned Peter Parker’s secret identity as Spider-Man, only for that knowledge to be erased by the film’s dramatic finale.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the latest installment from Sony and Marvel, with filming scheduled to take place in England this summer. The movie is set for release on July 31, 2026.
