James Gunn's 'Superman' is releasing on July 11
The all-new Superman movie this time will be led by David Corenswet.
Previously, the superhero role was portrayed by Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill.
Ever since, Warner Bros. dropped the first look of the upcoming film, fans have been comparing David’s performance with the other two superstars.
The 31-year-old, while talking about his new film, revealed that he felt the pressure and expectation of the audience while signing up for the role.
Corenswet share in interview, "I feel much more a sense of responsibility than a sense of accomplishment having done the role.”
“I also know that so much in life and especially the life of an actor is up to chance and good luck, and certainly you get what you make of your situation.”
The Twisters actor confessed that he considers it to be a great stroke of luck.
"I just think of it as a great stroke of luck and I better do everything I can to earn the responsibility."
Superman, directed by James Gunn, is slated to hit theatres on July 11, starring David, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Isabela Merced and Milly Alcock.
