’Bryce Dallas Howard has recently made surprising confession about Joaquin Phoenix.
The Jurassic World actress, who appeared alongside Joaquin in 2004 movie The Village, revealed that she had a huge crush on the Joker star as a kid.
“I had the biggest crush on Joaquin when I was seven years old, and he was Leaf Phoenix, and he was in Parenthood,” said Bryce during an appearance on latest episode of Penn Badgley’s podcast, Podcrushed on June 18.
The Help actress dished, “It was insane being like, ‘Oh, you want me to play a character who’s been in love with this guy, like, her whole life? Sure.’”
For the unversed, Bryce, who played Ivy in the movie, was in love with Joaquin’s character Lucius. The movie was directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
In a separate interview with US WEEKLY, the Argylle actress, who share two children with husband Seth Gabel, described improv comedy as a helpful tool to deal with her teenagers.
“I think improv comedy is an incredible training ground for being a parent because you’re not really going in there with an agenda, per se,” stated the 44-year-old.
Bryce explained, “The thing that’s tricky with children is that my kids are smarter than me, they’re faster than me, they’re quicker than me.”
The actress told US, “I think that improv helps you develop the interpersonal skills to find a win-win, especially when it comes to your children.”
