'Batman 2' is now going to release in 2027
DC CEO James Gunn has expressed anger on people repeatedly asking update on The Batman Part II.
Ever since, the makers postponed the release of the upcoming DC Comics film from 2026 to 2027, it sparked concern among fans, who went on questioning whether the movie is still going forward or not.
Meanwhile, they are also time and again asking Gunn online about how long it is taking to get made.
The Superman director have often frequently responded to the internet, telling them that director Matt Reeves is busy working on the screenplay and that the writer is taking his time to create the perfect script.
But James is now "irritated" of the people. In a latest interview with Entertainment Weekly, he added, “Listen, we’re supposed to get a script in June. I hope that happens. We feel really good about it. Matt’s excited."
"I talk to Matt all the time. I’m totally excited about it. So we can’t wait to read the scripts, but we haven’t read it yet, if that’s your question.”
He went on to say that “Matt doesn’t owe you something because you like his movie. I mean, you like his movie because of Matt. So let Matt do things the way he does.”
According to Gunn, Reeves is going to come out with a script when he feels good about it.
“And Matt’s not going to give me the screenplay until he feels good about the screenplay.”
