Jason Mamoa’s son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa will be making his acting debut in Dune 3 alongside his father.
It has been reported that the 16-year-old has been tapped to play Leto II, son of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya) in the upcoming Dune installment.
Meanwhile, the Aquaman star is expected to reprise his role as Duncan Idaho, the resurrected ghola, Deadline reported on Tuesday, June 17.
The news outlet has also announced that the teen actor’s on-screen twin sister, Ghanima, is set to portray by Ida Brooke.
Dune: Messiah will open in theaters on December 16, 2026, starring Jason’s son Nakoa Wolf, whom he shares with ex wife Lisa Bonet alongwith a 17-year-old daughter named Lola Iolani.
Oscar-nominated director Denis Villeneuve is set to return for the third installment, adapting Dune Messiah, the second book in Frank Herbert’s award-winning series.
While Villeneuve split the first novel into two films, Dune: Messiah will follow the events of Dune 12 years later.
Although an official casting announcement has yet to be made, it has been confirmed that both Chalamet and Zendaya will reprise their roles.
