Jesse McCartney shares first photos of his newborn baby

Jesse McCartney has entered fatherhood by welcoming his first baby with wife Katie Peterson.

Taking over to his Instaram on Tuesday, June 17, the All My Children star announced a delightful news that he has become a dad to a baby boy and was generous enough to share several photos of the little bundle of joy.

"Archer James McCartney took center stage on 5/7/25 [blue heart and bow and arrow emoji]," the new parents began the caption, proudly revealing the full name of his first child, who made an early entrance into the world on May 7, arriving prematurely ahead of the expected August 8 due date.

"We are so in love with him. He loves when mommy reads him a book and when daddy sings him off to sleep. We look forward to bringing him home very soon to meet his big sister Bailey, who sleeps with his blanket every night," referring to their pet dog Bailey, the couple continued in the joint social media. 

"Enjoy some cute pictures of our little fighter, Archer," they wrote, wrapping up the sweet post.

The couple, who broke the pregnancy news on Valentines’ Day February 14, shared a series of public photo, showing the newborn dressed in an all-white onesie with "Archer" written in baby blue.

One adorable snapshot captured the infant with his arms raised while swaddled in a custom baby blue and white blanket while the other featured him seated in front of a brown teddy bear.

McCartney and Peterson added a bit of fun with the last photos, which looked as if they caught Archer mid-sneeze.
