Brad Pitt reveals life lessons he would give to his younger self
F1 stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem offer advices they’d give their younger selves
F1 stars Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem have recently shared valuable advice they would give their younger selves.
Speaking to E! News at the racing movie promotion, Brad and Javier were asked to offer wise words to their younger selves.
“Don't sweat it, bro. Trust yourself,” said the 61-year-old.
The Troy actor continued, “I mean so many things that were just a waste of time.”
“I agonised over in the early years… Really, really, just trust your voice,” stated Brad.
The Hollywood heartthrob’s co-star Javier also offered nugget of wisdom to his younger self.
“Don't try so hard,” he remarked.
The Little Mermaid actor mentioned, “Don't push yourself. Trust more in your instinct, in your inner voice.”
“It's easy to say now, when you are older,” continued the 56-year-old.
However, Javier pointed out that when “you are young so much is at stake. You want to prove yourself to prove others so much”.
Interestingly, both stars agreed that they’re much more comfortable with their position in Hollywood.
“Now I think we are fine with that. Like, okay, if you like what I do, great. If you don't, I'm sorry. But when you’re young it’s like, ‘You have to like me!’” stated Javier.
Elsewhere in the interview, Brad reflected on movies, saying, “It's gone through so many different incarnations.
The Mr & Mrs Smith actor recalled the ‘90s when it was all about the independent cinema and just getting back to, like, “70s kind of moviemaking”.
“Then we saw in the arts, the blockbuster was emerging again, and then streamers came on and just changed everything all over again,” noted Brad.
Meanwhile, F1 is slated to release in theatres on June 27.
