Rachel Brosnahan recalls a hilarious experience as she filmed stunt for ‘Superman’
Rachel Brosnahan was seemingly a pro as she tackled scenes with lengthy dialogues with co-star David Corenswet on her very first day for the much-anticipated Superman film.
Brosnahan detailed her first day on the set of James Gunn’s directorial during a chat with fellow actress Amanda Seyfried for celebrity-on-celebrity chat for Interview Magazine.
The actress, 34, plays the iconic character Lois Lane, the love interest of Clark Kent (Superman).
"We were shooting the 10-page scene that David and I had tested with," she said. "It felt like we could have been shooting an indie movie in a basement somewhere, which was amazing because we got to really discover these characters."
When Seyfried asked whether filming such scenes in the beginning was intentional, Brosnahan joked, "I think so. We made out for a couple of hours and then we shot a 10-page-long scene."
She then teased a mysterious stunt sequence which Brosnahan said she can’t reveal it right now.
"I got to do a different thing, which I’m not really allowed to talk about, that didn’t involve wires but felt like maybe it should have," she added.
Brosnahan then went on to describe one of the most hilarious moments on set with Superman’s dog Krypto, who basically is a CGI.
"I've never felt like a worse actor in my entire life," she laughed. "There was nothing there. James was on the god mic somewhere far away, going, 'No. Rachel, you put your hand through the dog. Stop putting your hand through the dog.'"
