Lucy Hale marks ‘Pretty Little Liars’ milestone with heartfelt message

Lucy Hale celebrated 15 years of her hit TV series Pretty Little Liars with a heartfelt note and throwback photos.

Hale, who starred as Aria Montgomery, was one of the four main characters who were tormented by the mysterious 'A' after the disappearance of her friend Alison (played by Sasha Pieterse).

The Hating Game star shared a carousel post on her Instagram featuring candid behind-the-scenes photos and videos.

In the caption she wrote, "Happy 15 years to PLL the nostalgia!!"

"Some of these photos are so low quality but it really was a different time lol," Hale continued. “The last slide is a video I stumbled on and didn’t even realize I had. Just a small, but not uncommon moment while filming this show [phone and fire emoji]”

She went on to say that the experience on the set "changed [her] life and [she] will always be grateful to everyone involved."

The Truth or Dare actress also gave a shout out to fans of PLL who "made this one incredible drive and kept this alive for so many years."

"I know it’ll be one that people keep discovering. I want to hear all the crazy A theories you had in the comments [lip emoji]," she concluded her message.

Pretty Little Liars, ran on CW from 2010 to 2017. In addition to Hale and Pieterse, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Troian Bellisario, Ian Harding were also part of the star-studded cast.
