Brad Pitt shares his thoughts on Tom Cruise at F1 movie premiere in Mexico City
Brad Pitt has recently expressed his interest to work with Tom Cruise on one condition.
Speaking at the F1 premiere in Mexico City last week, the Troy star spoke with E! News about potentially making a movie with Top Gun actor.
Gushing over Tom, Brad said, “He’s sweet… We did have our go-cart days back in the ’90s,” as he revealed that the Hollywood hunk was the superior contender then.
The Ocean’s 11 actor pointed out his stipulations if ever he would ever be going to appear alongside the Mission: Impossible actor.
“Well, I’m not gonna hang myself off airplane like that,” he declared.
Brad stated, “When he does something again that’s on the ground.”
In another interview with GQ magazine, F1 director Joseph Kosinski, who also directed Tom in Top Gun Maverick, shared that the actor was not considered to play Brad’s role in the Formula One racing drama.
“Tom always pushes it to the limit, but at the same time is super capable and very skilled,” noted Joseph.
The movie-maker added, “They both have the natural talent for driving. But, yeah, I could see Tom maybe scaring us a little bit more.”
Meanwhile, Brad will be seen in F1, which will release in theatres worldwide on June 27.
