'Fantastic Four' star surprises fans with 'the best news ever'

Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd shared yet another delightful news two months after tying the knot with wife Biance Wallace.

Taking over to his official Instagaram account the actor, who played Reed Richards–also known as Mr. Fantastic—in the 2005 live-action film and its 2007 sequel, announced that his wife is expecting their first baby.

"Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello! [white heart emoji]," they couple, who tied the knot in April 2025, captioned the joint social media post.

The sweet photo featured the soon-to-be parents’ silhouettes, with the Forever actor kneeling as he gently planted a sweet peck on his wife’s growing baby bump.

The comments section overflowed with warm wishes and congratulations for the couple, including Bianca’s sister, Chanel Wallace, who excitedly wrote, "I’m going to be an auntie [heart eyes and red heart emoji] Baby G, you are already so loved."

A fan exclaimed, "Omg this is delightful news!!!" followed by another, "Best news ever [crying emoji]."

Meanwhile a third gushed, "Wow!! The best news! What a lucky baby, with two caring thoughtful loving parents."

The pair, who first confirmed their relationship in October 2021, announced their marriage on Friday, April 25, after getting engaged in January 2024.

They shared a video from their nuptials on the social media platform with a sweet caption that read, "Mr & Mrs Gruffudd [heart with arrow emoji]. Marriage now, wedding later [flower bouquet emoji]."

Set to the tune of Past Lives by Martin Arteta, the heartfelt clip with grainy footage, featured Gruffudd, 51, and the 32-year-old actress enjoying their special day with a view of the ocean.
