Seong Gi-hun vows to 'put an end' to the high-stakes drama in 'Squid Game' Season 3 final trailer
Netflix has reminded fans that Squid Game Season 3 will mark the end of the life-altering saga by unveiling a final trailer.
Doubling down on the announcement, the streaming giant released a new teaser for the third and final season of the globally acclaimed Korean series.
While offering limited insight, the trailer serves just enough to satisfy fans and at the same time leave them wanting for more.
This latest preview sets a somber and emotional tone compared to the first trailer with a voiceover from Jang Geum-ja, also known as Player 149 (Kang Ae-shim), addressing the series’ protagonist, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae).
"Are you blaming yourself for everything that happened? No matter how you look at it, life is just unfair," the old lady continues. "Bad people do bad things, but they blame others and go on to live in peace. Good people, on the other hand, beat themselves up over the smallest things."
The introspective monologue resonated deeply with viewers for its relatability and emotional weight with one exclaiming, "This is so true!" in the comments section.
"This has become become the best quote I ever heard," another remaked under the YouTube video.
The trailer ends with a powerful note, with Geum-ja saying, "I still believe that you came here to save us all," followed by Gi-hun, Player 456, delivering the final line: "I’m trying to put an end to it."
Season 3 of Squid Game, Netflix’s most-watched series of all time across all languages, is set to premiere on June 27.
