Mike Tindall wishes to treat his mother-in-law, Princess Anne with a special birthday party, despite her apparent hesitation to mark the milestone occasion in a grand way.
The Princess Royal recently celebrated her 75th birthday by hosting a charity forum at Buckingham Palace, choosing a purposeful public event over a private celebration.
However, according to reports, Mike Tindall is planning a beautiful party at the party barn he and his wife Zara designed on the Gatcombe Park estate.
A source revealed to the Mail that the former rugby star intends to host the event in the party barn located on the grounds of Princess Anne's country home, where the Tindalls also reside.
Princess Anne spent more than two hours attending the palace reception. With her usual humility, Princess Anne addressed the guests by saying: 'I'm not here because this was my choice. You very kindly asked me to become patron of your organisations, so it's an honour for me to have all of you here.'
She went on to share the joy she finds in visiting their causes and learning more about their efforts, underlining the viral importance of the work they do.
