Bryce Dallas Howard reveals how she feels about her movies getting negative reviews
Bryce Dallas Howard has recently made shocking confession about box office flops.
The Jurassic World actress revealed what it felt like when a movie like Argylle or The Lady in the Water get bad reviews.
“You can always see it coming while you’re making it,” said the 44-year-old in a new interview with The Independent.
Bryce told the outlet, “I’ve never been shocked when something doesn’t work. But I’m just an actor – you’re there to serve a director’s vision.”
“If a movie doesn’t turn out the way that you envisioned, you can barely feel disappointed because it’s not yours,” explained the Hereafter actress.
Bryce shared, “You’re not the person who’s building the thing.”
The Help actress opened up that her director father, Ron Howard, wasn’t able to disconnect from projects in the same way.
“It blows him away that I don’t do that,” added Bryce as her father felt shocked each time a project he directed doesn’t do well.
For the unversed, Bryce reportedly suffered one of her biggest flops last year with Argylle, the $200 million star-studded spy comedy from Kingsman movie-maker Matthew Vaughn.
