Sydney Sweeney shares honest experience of filming explicit scenes

Sydney Sweeney has recently shared her experience of filming explicit scenes for her new movie.

The actress revealed that she doesn’t get “nervous” and even gained confidence as well as self-awareness while playing Cassie in Euphoria.

“I think that the female body is a very powerful thing,” said the 27-year-old in a new interview with W Magazine.

Sydney believed that she did perform nude scenes as she was “telling” her “character’s story”.

Therefore, the Anyone But You actress mentioned, “I owe it to them to tell it well and to do what needs to be done.”

Sydney shared that she viewed her on-screen nudity as a way “to add to a character plot”.

Earlier in March 2022 interview with Teen Vogue, the Immaculate actress stated, “We all get naked in real life. We show this character's life and what they're going through.”

However, in another interview with The Independent in January 2022, around the launch of Euphoria's second season, Sydney asked the show's producers to change some scenes to omit nudity that didn't add to the plot.

Meanwhile, the actress will next be seen in Echo Valley, which will hit the theaters on June 13.
