Orlando Bloom opened up about his “terrifying’ experience while filming his 2024 series Orlando Bloom: To the Edge.
The 48-year-old actor, who is currently in the spotlight due to his relationship with Katy Perry, recalled performing intense stunts for the adventure series.
During his appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, June 10, he said, “That is scary. It’s the fastest you can be propelled as a human being on the planet without any engine or something. And you literally feel like you’re flying.”
Later in the conversation, the Carnival Row star revealed that he flew across the ocean to landed on California’s Pismo Beach.
Speaking exclusively, he explained, “If you even move your foot slightly, you could go into a tumble. And then the fear is you tumble, and then you’ve got to pull a chute. And then you’re upside down, and then you’ve got to pull a chute again. It can go south very fast.”
Reflecting on his love for skydiving, Bloom described it as “an amazing sport and a lifestyle choice.”
Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Heaven actor is also gearing up for his London-set film Deep Cover, which will premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, June 12.
