Ariana Grande, after impressing fans with her phenomenal acting skills in Wicked, will once again leave them awestruck with a new movie.
Meet the Parents, the 2000s comedy romance film featuring Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, is all set to return with a fourth sequel.
A few days ago, news came out that Grande has joined the ensemble cast of the much-anticipated movie.
On June 9, Stiller spilled some beans about the upcoming project and also spoke about the 7 Rings vocalist's character.
Without unleashing much details, the 59-year-old claimed that Ariana is going to be the ‘engine’ of the forthcoming project.
The Zoolander star, while speaking to NBC’s Joe Fryer, said, “She’s so talented.”
He went on to say, “She’s so great with comedy. Can’t really talk too much at this point about the movie but the character she’s playing, she’s gonna be really, really funny and the whole engine of the new movie.”
On the other hand, Grande is extremely happy and excited about joining the star cast of Meet the Parents as she took it to her Instagram and wrote, “Very thrilled to be joining (meeting) the family.”
Niro, Stiller, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner are set to return for the 2026 yet-untitled venture.
