Dakota Johnson has reportedly parted ways with her longtime boyfriend Chris Martin.
The 35-year-old is currently busy promoting her new film Materialists with co-stars Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans.
Recently, in one of the interviews, Johnson spoke about character in the film, while also reflecting on the complexities of a relationship.
Directed and written by Celine Song, the upcoming romantic comedy features Dakota as a young matchmaker in New York, who gets trapped in a love triangle while deciding on a life partner for herself.
Somewhat, the plot seems 'relatable' to the Fifty Shades of Grey famed star, who passed a skeptical remark during a press tour, which fans suspect might be an indirect comment on her relationship with the Coldplay frontman.
While talking to Los Angeles Times, The Social Network actress said, "The complexities of all of the characters. The paradox. Everyone being confused about what the f*** they’re supposed to do with their hearts and what's the right move.”
She continued, “I found that very honest, and I found it just so relatable.”
Even though, both Martin and Johnson have been dating on and off, but this time sources claim that 'they have broken up for good'.
The former couple started dating in 2017 and secretly got engaged in 2020.
