Tom Hardy has recently shared rare insight into his work and home life with wife and kids.
While speaking to US ELLE magazine, the Venom actor revealed how he balanced his work and personal life.
“Some characters are nicer to have at home than others,” said the 47-year-old.
Tom noted that it's hard to shake it all out, explaining, “There's a decompression period back to civilian and family life. I've only just realised that.”
The Mobland actor mentioned that he “actively tries to appreciate his time at home with his children”.
Tom, who shares son with ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed, and welcomed two kids with Charlotte, told the outlet, “We've had six months with nothing to do but prep for the next project and be at home and be a family.”
“I realised how deeply affected I can be by a character, and how much work it takes to just be at home and be present,” pointed out the Bikeriders actor.
For the unversed, Tom and Charlotte were forced to move away from Richmond due to an incident with an alleged stalker, reported via The Sun.
Earlier in an interview with Esquire, the Havoc star opened up that he never regretted his rural relocation.
“I think there's less reason to work, ultimately, because the life-drive is to be with the kids and to be fit and healthy and eat well and stuff,” added Tom.
