Perrie Edwards shares her personal journey through challenging mental health experience
Perrie Edwards, 31, revealed the extreme lengths she went to cope with her mental health struggles.
During conversation with Metro, Edwards gave an update of her mental health. She told the outlet that she is "trying to be at peace" with her anxiety and its physical symptoms, rather than fearing potential panic attacks.
She went on to give some insight into her experience with a therapist.
"Last year, maybe in September, I started to take my therapist to work with me, which I know is a very privileged situation," she said.
The mother-of-one further elucidated the reason why she took her therapist to work each day saying that it helped her get trained through any panic attack "there and then" in the moment itself.
Sharing her thoughts on the decision, Perrie told the outlet that "It's the best thing I've ever done."
As for now, Edwards is currently focused on her debut solo album, That's Showbiz Baby, set to stream on September 21.
