Keanu Reeves makes rare statement about Tom Cruise
'Ballerina' starring Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves is set to release on June 6
Tom Cruise, who is currently enjoying the success of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, made some remarks about Keanu Reeves a few days ago.
The 62-year-old recently gave a shoutout to upcoming film Ballerina that belongs to the world of John Wick. Not just that, Cruise publicly supported Reeves for the first time.
Praising his work in films like Matrix and Speed, the Top Gun: Maverick star stated that he truly admires the 60-year-old actor’s efforts that he puts in his films.
"I know what it takes to do that stuff, so I always call him. I'm like, 'Hats off, man, hats off,' and I dig those movies, I really love it”, Tom added.
Responding to his remarks, Keanu has expressed the joy he felt on receiving such amazing words from a ‘legend.’
Reeves said, "Yeah, I mean, he's a legend, you know, I don't know if he has an equal.”
He continued, “The career that he's had, in action and performing, you know, he's very special; he's one of the best. It's cool to have a shoutout from the legend."
The admiration the two have for each other is completely understandable as Keanu and Tom are both known for performing their challenging stunts all by themselves, reports Screen Rant.
