Mikey Madison appear to be ready to take on her next role following her Oscar-winning performance in Anora.
The Scream actress, who has been very particular in choosing her roles and is in high demand since her big win, has already turned down untitled Star Wars movie directed by Deadpool & Wolverine filmmaker Shawn Levy.
Now, according to an insider, Madison is in talks to star in a reimagining of Edgar Allen Poe's Masque of the Red Death.
A source told The Hollywood Reporter that she will be replacing Sydney Sweeney, who was previously on-board but dropped out because of scheduling conflicts.
They further revealed that Madison will play twin sisters in the film.
The plot follows a mad prince take in the noble class into his castle while a plague devastates the peasantry.
One of the twins, long hidden among the lower class, enters the castle and into a decadent world of orgies, opium, power schemes, revenge and decapitations.
The Masque of the Red Death is due to begin filming at the end of this year or early next year, according to the tipster.
