Ana de Armas reflects on ‘Ballerina’ and ‘Deeper’ movies

Ana de Armas has recently been making headlines with her new movie Ballerina with Keanu Reeves and other project, Deeper opposite Tom Cruise.

Speaking to Deadline at the John Wick spinoff premiere at the TLC Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on June 3, Ana shared few lessons she learned while playing the role of Eve Macarro in Ballerina.

“I think it’s important to keep looking for truth, answers,” said the 37-year-old.

The Ghosted actress stated, “To keep pushing until you find your truth no matter what. So, take risks and get to the bottom of it.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ana talked about her new movie, Deeper with Tom.

Sharing details about the project, the Deep Water actress told the outlet, “Training, just training, getting ready for what’s going to come.”

In another interview with Variety, Ana gushed about Top Gun star, who showed support to her new movie, Ballerina with Keanu.

“It is unbelievable that Tom made the effort to publicly endorse the movie,” remarked the Eden actress.

Nevertheless, Ana pointed out that the Mission Impossible actor “supports every movie”.

“He really wants the industry and cinema to do well and [wants] people going to the theatres,” noted The Gray Man actress.

Ana opened up that she and Tom “are working together, so he got to see ‘Ballerina’ and he actually really liked it. He loved the ‘John Wicks’”.

“It is very special that someone like Tom is supporting Ballerina,” remarked the Blonde actress.

Ana added, “It is really special in general to have other actors and people supporting each other. We can do well all together.”

Meanwhile, Ballerina will release in theatres on June 6.
