Sutton Foster dodges reporters after Hugh Jackman's ex-wife talks 'betrayal'

Hugh Jackman’s new flame Sutton Foster stepped out solo at the Drama Desk Awards over the weekend, and she was in no mood to chat.

According to Daily Mail, the Broadway star smiled for photos but dodged reporters on the red carpet at the June 1st event, leaving swiftly without answering any questions.

Foster, 50, stunned in a sequined cutout gown and heels at the 69th annual event, where she was nominated for her role in Once Upon a Mattress. While she posed with co-star Michael Urie, one person was noticeably missing: her new beau.

It comes just a few days after the Wolverine star’s ex-wife, Debora-Lee Furness, seemingly took aim at his new relationship.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Furness described experiencing a “traumatic … betrayal” and said, “This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage,” referring to her faith in a higher power.

Furness and Jackman were married for 27 years before announcing their split in 2023. Since then, rumours swirled about a romance between Jackman and Foster, who starred together in The Music Man on Broadway. 

The two went public in January and are reportedly now living together.
