Vanessa Kirby got candid about her feelings on joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with her role as (Sue Storm / Invisible Woman) in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The Crown star, is joined by Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm / Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm / The Thing) in the film.
The story follows the titular team defending the earth from Galactus and Silver Surfer.
Later on Kirby, Pascal, Quinn and Moss-Bachrach will reprise their role in Avengers: Doomsday, in which the team is expected to play a pivotal role.
According to social media page on X (formerly Twitter), @Avengers Update in an interview with Kirby at CCXPMX 25 asked her about her time with the MCU cast.
"These people have known each other for 20 years and have worked together, grown these characters, and we’re the newbies," she said.
"This is our establishing movie. Now we’re joining them as a family. It is literally. It feels like one big family. It feels like a theatre company," she added.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated for release on July 25, 2025.
