Ben Affleck, Matt Damon make rare appearance at dinner date

Ben Affleck enjoyed a dinner date as he third wheeled with his close friend Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso.

The 52-year-old actor was seen hugging and chatting with the couple in fan-posted photos as they exited the Beverly Hills steakhouse Steak 48 on Saturday, May 31.

The Good Will Hunting star was spotted wearing a casual outfit with a black leather jacket and jeans, while Damon wore a white short-sleeved button-up shirt and khakis.

Barroso, for her part, opted for a beige two-piece suit for the outing.

The trio gathered at the dinner right after Damon and Affleck attended Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event for the promotion of their upcoming film, The Rip.

The longtime collaborators and friends teased some clips from their upcoming crime-thriller and had a light-hearted conversation with fans as they took the stage.

The Gone Girl actor poked fun at Damon’s beard, which he is in the process of growing for his upcoming role in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, saying, "I trusted Matt would shave the beard before Tudum — and here we are."

Affleck and Damon have been friends since they were eight and ten years old, respectively, and have shared the screen numerous times.
