Saoirse Ronan is pregnant with first baby with husband Jack Lowden: Reports

Saoirse Ronan is preparing for what could arguably be her biggest role yet: motherhood.

The Little Women star, 31, is expecting her first child with husband Jack Lowden, 34, according to The Daily Mail. On June 1st, the outlet published photos of the couple walking their dog Fran in London’s Islington neighbourhood — baby bump clearly visible.

The Irish actress also appeared to debut her pregnancy on the red carpet last week in France, wearing a flowing black silk Louis Vuitton gown to an event for the fashion house in Avignon.

Known for keeping their relationship ultra-private, Ronan and Lowden's happy news is now seemingly confirmed as they took a casual stroll near their £2.5 million home. 

The couple married in a quiet ceremony in Edinburgh in July 2024. As reported by the Irish Independent, it was “lowkey,” with “only a handful of the couple’s closest friends” in attendance.

“All the guests were sworn to secrecy,” the outlet added, with the wedding taking place at Edinburgh’s Central Registrar’s Office.

Ronan and Lowden met while filming Mary Queen Of Scots, in which she played the title role and he portrayed her husband, Lord Darnley.
