'Switch' star Robert Wagner pours out love for his granddaughter as she steps into her teenage years
American actor John Wagner showered lots of love on his granddaughter, Clover, as she embarked on her teenage era.
Marking his granddaughter’s 13th birthday on Saturday, May 31, the Switch star took to his official Instagram account to post a picture and a heartwarming note.
"Happy 13th birthday to my beautiful granddaughter, Clover. Watching you grow into such a smart, kind, and spirited young lady has been one of life’s greatest joys," Wagner, who marked his milestone 35th wedding anniversary with former actress Jill St. John on Monday, May 27, penned.
"Grandma and I are so proud of you and the young woman you’re becoming," the veteran actor known for starring in It Takes a Thief and Hart to Hart continued. "Welcome to your teenage years—this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey. We love you so much."
In the caption of a picture, featuring the proud grandfather-granddaughter duo, Robert tagged Clover's parents, Natasha Gregson Wagner and 7th Heaven actor Barry Watson.
Natasha is the elder child of Robert's former wife, the late actress Natalie Wood, and film producer Richard Gregson.
In addition, Wood, who died in 1981 at the age of 43, welcomed a second daughter, Courtney Wagner, in 1974 with Robert, who has Two and a Half Men and NCIS credits under his belt.
