Brooke Shields receives touching tribute from daughter on special day

Brooke Shields has completed another trip around the sun, and her daughter Rowan Henchy couldn’t be more grateful for her mom’s presence in her life.

Ringing into her mother’s 60th birthday celebrations, the elder daughter posted a series of photos on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 31.

"Happy birthday to my role model, partner in crime and best friend. Thank you for always being my rock," the 22-year-old captioned the first snapshot, featuring the mother-daughter duo posing on a red carpet.

In the next slide, Rowan shared a picture of herself, her mom and younger sister, Grier Henchy, referring to their mother as "everyone's favorite girl boss [applying nail paint emoji]."

The following slide was a candid summertime snapshot of the Mother of the Bride star and her daughter, who was born in 2003, with a caption that read, "Love you mama."

She then wrapped up the milestone birthday tribute with a throwback picture, which captured Shields from her younger days holding baby Rowan, with a white heart drawn at the right corner of the frame.

For the unversed, Shields shares both her daughters with Chris Henchy, her husband of over 20 years.
