The wait is finally over for Happy Gilmore fans!

Adam Sandler is bringing back his iconic character in the Netflix sequel movie Happy Gilmore 2, and the full trailer was just unveiled at the Tudum fan event in Los Angeles.

The trailer, which debuted on Saturday at the Kia Forum, gives a glimpse into what's in store for the long-driving phenom's return to the golf course.

Sandler reprises his starring role as Happy Gilmore, a character he originated in the 1996 film. The trailer cleverly ends with a nod to one of the most famous Sandler lines from the original movie.

More familiar faces like Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, and Ben Stiller returning, alongside new additions like Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, Travis Kelce, and Kym Whitley are part of the sequel.

The film also boasts some impressive cameos, including Eminem and pro golfers like Jack Nicklaus, John Daly, and Jordan Spieth.

In a previously released clip, Sandler's character laments, "I haven’t swung a club in years... I’m a little intimidated. All these guys hit it big now."

Dennis Dugan, who directed the original Happy Gilmore and executive produces the sequel, is reprising his role as pro golf tour commissioner Doug Thompson.

Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote the screenplay for the sequel, and they're joined by producers Robert Simonds and Jack Giarraputo.

Dugan in recent interview with the outlet, praised Travis Kelce's role in the sequel, saying, "His acting was really good and funny, and he was just a genuinely nice guy... I met him for a day and a half, loved working with him, and now every time he catches a pass on TV, I say, ‘My best friend caught another pass.'"

The Murder Mystery star himself acknowledged the pressure to live up to the original movie, saying, "It’s on your mind... We’ve got a lot of good stuff, and we just want to make sure that it all comes together and keeps it going from start to finish, and that’s the goal. We’ll see. We’re definitely nervous, but we feel some sort of confidence."

Happy Gilmore 2 is set to begin streaming on Netflix on July 25.
