Simon Pegg, who rose to fame after starring in Tom Cruise’s action-packed franchise, Mission: Impossible.

The eighth installment of the Cruise starrer has been running successfully across the globe. It has broken the record of its predecessor film titled Mission: Impossible - Fallout.

The 55-year-old English actor, in a recent conversation with the Rolling Stone UK magazine, made an honest confession.

Simon admitted that moving to Hertfordshire from London's Crouch End 13 years ago was the best decision of his life as now it feels like he is spending a normal life and is not constantly being followed or looked at.

The comedian stated, "The thing I relish the most is being at home, and the familiarity of dog walks on a Saturday is nice.”

He continued, "I used to live in Crouch End before we moved here, and I was basically living on the set of Shaun of the Dead”.

Pegg said when he lived in his old locality, he never suffered any hassle, but he did felt visible for everyone every time.

“I couldn't really go into any shop or a restaurant without the feeling I was being constantly looked at, and that is of course a residual effect of doing a job which puts you in the public eye, and you have to be prepared for that.”

The Hot Fuzz star opens that was not in a good place physically and emotionally back then.
