Lindsay Lohan reveals her fitness routine in a candid interview
Lindsay Lohan has recently been making headlines for her healthy and glowing skin.
Lately, the Mean Girls actress, who shares one son with husband Bader Shammas, appeared happy in an ‘80s-inspired ad for Old Navy activewear campaign.
While speaking to Bustle, Lindsay spilled the beans about her fitness routine that she had been following every day.
“I love Pilates, and I mix it with a little CrossFit,” said the 38-year-old.
The Irish Wish actress explained, “Depending on what I want to focus on, sometimes my trainer is tougher on me… But I love Pilates because it’s gentle but effective, and I prefer that.”
Lindsay pointed out that strength training is also important, “because especially with age, you need to build strength more than anything”.
“Aside from moving all the time with my son, which I consider a workout every day, Pilates is nice me-time to have,” stated the Freaky Friday actress.
Lindsay believed “exercise wasn’t such a big thing in our generation — health and wellness weren’t as big as they are now”.
However, the actress opened up that she “craves those endorphins,” and even want to be able to keep up with hee children.
“It’s just become a ritual,” she added.
Meanwhile, Lindsay told the outlet that she also focused on self-care practices that included “breathwork and mindful meditation”.
