The Harry Potter series has tipped some of the hit Hollywood stars to play the iconic role of Voldemort in upcoming drama.
Earlier this week, the Wizarding World fans were sent in frenzy after the legendry golden trio was announced starring Dominic Laughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
According to industry experts at OLBG (Online Betting Guide), the leading early predictions reveal the chances of who is going to play the antagonist role which was previously played by Ralph Fiennes.
The British actor, Tom Hiddleston, is placed at number one, followed by Cillian Murphy, Paul Betteny, Fiennes and Benedict Cumberbatch.
However, a return for any actor who featured in the original films seems increasingly unlikely given not a single one has yet been announced.
Previously, Finneas endorsed Murphy to play Voldemort, saying, "Cillian is a fantastic actor. That’s a wonderful suggestion. I would be all in favor of Cillian. Yeah."
While search for the perfect villain is still going on, the rest of cast for the new series include, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Snape, Nick Frost as Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Filch.
The Harry Potter series is slated to release on HBO by late 2026 or early 2027.
