Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend have recently decided to move to London amid LA wildfire concerns.
The A-list Hollywood couple, who currently reside in Los Angeles, revealed that they are looking to live in a “colder place”.
John, who shares four children with Chrissy, said that he and his family “love” living in London while speaking to The Sun.
“We spent our last Christmas here and two or three Christmases ago we were here as well,” said the musician who also discussed the possibility of leaving his $17.5 million Beverly Hills home.
John mentioned, “We like to be in a colder place. We don’t like to be in Los Angeles for Christmas.”
“We always talk about the possibility of moving to New York or London,” remarked the 46-year-old.
The musician added, “Those are two cities that we would definitely consider living in. We love walking cities.”
Earlier this year, John opened up that he and wife Chrissy were considering making a permanent move out of Los Angeles after the devastating wildfires.
The Eaton and Palisades Fires, which sparked on January 7, destroyed nearly 17,000 structures and killed at least 29 people. The couple were among the A-list residents forced to flee their home, and took shelter in a luxury hotel along with their four children.
However, the musician confessed that there is now a “collective trauma” in the area that had made the couple to consider relocating to New York.
Meanwhile, speaking to The Wall Street Journal, John explained, “Chrissy and I have always considered returning to New York, where we once lived. We probably will, once our youngest ones grow up a bit.”
