Vin Diesel, who has been the mainstay of the Fast and Furious franchise ever since its inception, has left fans emotional with his latest move.
As the new film from the Fast Saga is in the making, Vin has been sharing behind-the-scenes and some throwback images to create an excitement among the fans.
Earlier today, the 57-year-old dropped a post expressing his love and respect for the most significant and impactful character of the series.
Vin wrote, “While I travel between coasts… often getting the best writing done up in Bear Country… I often hear from friends who are traveling, many of whom are enjoying the European ambience.”
Dedicating the post to veteran Helen Mirren, the XXX star mentioned that she is the ‘Auntie’ you would like to talk to as she has experienced most of the things in life and so she always has an outlook on it.
Diesel went on to express, “It’s interesting how fitting the character she portrays in our saga is… we wanted a European matriarch to expand our universe.”
“Someone uniquely independent and raw, who witnessed brotherhood and its complexities as the mother of the Shaw brothers. Her synchronicity with the Dom character is something the audience gravitates to time and time again.”
The Pacifier actor confessed that he feels blessed that she is part of his on-screen and off-screen family.
Mirren and Diesel last starred in Fast X, released in 2023.
