'Terrifier' director makes shocking confession about hit franchise
Damien Leone has teased that the fourth sequel is in works
Damien Leone, director of popular horror franchise Terrifier, has shared a deep insight about the film series.
The 43-year-old brought the scary Art the Clown into the lives of movie lovers. The character has been widely known for causing pain, fear and humiliation during his murders.
So far, Leone has entertained people with three parts of the horror slasher. The director has also confirmed that a fourth sequel is in the works.
In a recent interview on the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast, Damien spoke about how he came up with the craft of the movie.
He opened that he wrote the script of the second entry while working at his previous job.
Leone stated, "I literally wrote the entire movie of Terrifier 2 when I was delivering flowers. Almost all the ideas came to me as I was driving that van."
The hit franchise stars Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi and Jenna Kanell. Meanwhile, David Howard Thornton plays the famous Art the Clown.
Taking it to Instagram, Damien teased the new sequel by writing, “The script for Terrifier 4 is under way and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga.”
