Emma Stone opens up about her fears regarding the preparation for 'Eddington'
Emma Stone is opening up about her fears regarding the preparation for her new film Eddington, much to her fans’ surprise.
The 36-year-old, alongside Pedro Pascal and Joaquin Phoenix was honoured with a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, May 16.
Though grateful for the honour bestowed upon the film, she confessed to feeling “scared” about certain aspects of her preparation for the new project.
During her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival press conference, Stone offered an insight into her hesitation about getting into the character.
Speaking about her research for the role, the actress, who has received two Oscars for La La Land and Poor Things, explained, “The only additional thing that scared me a little bit in the algorithm system was looking into some of the things that are in this film that haven’t been in my algorithm, unfortunately added them to my algorithm.”
“Because once you start Googling it, you start seeing more and more things. So it’s a real rabbit hole, very quickly.”
For the unversed, the film is slated to release in theatres starting July 18, 2025.
