Post Malone’s famously private personal life is making headlines due to a legal battle with his ex-fiancee that has brought his long-kept secrets to the spotlight.
The Mourning singer’s former love interest has officially been identified as Hee Sung "Jamie" Park in the wake of her court filing involving their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
The daughter's name remained under wraps with the Wednesday, April 16, lawsuit referring to her by her initials, DDP.
According to court papers obtained by People, the I Fall Apart singer’s ex is seeking primary physical custody of their daughter, while being open to joining legal custody and offering visitation rights to the father.
Park is also requesting that Post Malone, whose real name Austin Richard Post, cover he legal expenses.
It is pertinent to note before Park filed for custody in California, TMZ reported that the Sunflower singer had already filed custody paperwork in Utah.
Though the proper timeline of the exes relationship remain largely under the radar, the singer revealed that he had proposed to his longtime girlfriend during a Las Vegas getaway in 2021.
A year later, in May 2022, the Better Now artist surprised fans by announcing he had quietly welcomed a daughter, revealing casually a week after sharing that his then-fiancée was expecting their first baby.
Now, with a custody battle unfolding and the once-private couple's relationship entering the public view, the the Grammy winning singer's fans are getting a rare glimpse into his personal life.
Additionally, the exes' legal dispute came after Post Malone was photographed with his alleged new girlfriend, Christly Lee.
The new couple has been spotted enjoying dates in Rome and Paris since sparking romance rumours in March 2025.
